Here you can see the Laser Scanner set up to run from the jeep battery by means of an inverter and ready to start scanning the Currach. During the scanning process 3.9 million points were recorded in a 3D point cloud format

It was used mainly as a means of transport to and from the mainland and for general light duties. These Currachs were in use up to the early 1960's.
